1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, and then drain and set aside, but be sure to save some of the pasta water.
2. While the pasta cooks, bring a medium pan to medium-high heat.
3. Once the pan is hot, add in the butter and garlic, sautéing for 1 to 2 minutes.
4. After that time, reduce the heat to medium-low and slowly add in the cream, lemon juice, parmesan, salt, and pepper, cooking until everything is melted, smooth, and warm.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, along with a few splashes of the pasta water, to thin and coat the pasta.
6. Once the pasta is coated, serve it, top it with a little more pepper, and enjoy!
