Grilled Chicken Burger & Fries

Ingredients

2 small burger buns
2 5-oz. chicken breasts
2 medium pickles, sliced
2 slices processed cheese
2 cup frozen french fries
1 cup tomato, sliced
1 cup lettuce

2 tbsp. dijon mustard
4 tsp. mayo
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. avocado oil
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Remove the chicken from the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before cooking.

2. While the chicken gets to room temperature, spread it with the avocado oil and then sprinkle it with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. As the cooking time approaches, preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the fries according to package directions.

4. Once the grill is hot, place the chicken on the grill to cook for 3 to 5 minutes per side.

5. Once cooked, move the chicken from the grill and place it on a plate, wrap it in aluminum foil, and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.

6. While the chicken rests, start compiling the burger toppings by placing 2 teaspoons of mayo on a bun, along with 1 tablespoon of mustard, the slices of 1 pickle, half a cup of tomato, and half a cup of lettuce.

7. Finally, add the chicken to the burger, top it with a slice of the cheese, close the bun, and then serve the burger alongside the baked french fries, and enjoy!
